This workshop will be an invitation to discover one's essential being through meditative sitting, singing in consciousness, discovering one's body - an instrument of listening and self-expression -, contact with nature.
From mantra to polyphony, from Gregorian to Celtic chant, the songs will be approached in a simple way and accessible to all. Presence in the breath, singing and listening postures, everything will be art to make the pause of the voice coincide with the pause of the spirit. Centering is a prerequisite for a powerful, delicate and sensitive vocal instrument for a better self-fulfilment.
Entering into the silence of one's essential being will allow one to tune one's voice to better resonate and reason.
To be centered, is it not to be in its verticality? Out of time. Meditative singing acts on the function of listening through its regularity, repetition and the resonance of the singing group. Listening is energy, i.e. unity. "Every kingdom divided against itself runs to its ruin" Mat. XII 25
The verticality of the body and mind implies a creative spirit here and now, as it is freed from psychological memory.
A stage to recharge, to find oneself...more receptive...more vertical...can be simply more joyful.
